A 4.5 magnitude earthquake has struck Morocco’s Al Haouz Province on Tuesday, according to local media citing Google’s earthquake monitoring service. The quake occurred at 12:21 PM and was centered 6 kilometers from the Anougal commune. Since the deadly quake that hit Morocco in 2023, killing nearly 3000 people and injuring thousands more, the Marrakech region has experienced a series of aftershocks and smaller quakes.
