Afreximbank’s PAPSS expands to Algeria

The Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), backed by Afreximbank, the African Union, and AfCFTA, has added Algeria as its 18th member, boosting cross-border payments and trade integration. The move comes as Algeria prepares to host the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) in September 2025, expected to draw 35,000 participants from 140+ countries to advance AfCFTA goals.
