Air Algérie launches domestic carrier, expands fleet

Air Algérie has launched a new domestic subsidiary, Domestic Airlines, supported by 16 new ATR aircraft, Africa News Agency reported. The move, backed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, follows the integration of Tassili Airlines. With 32 additional Boeing and Airbus aircraft on order, the national carrier aims to grow its fleet to 100 planes and strengthen Algiers’ position as a key African aviation hub.
