According to reporting by Energy, Capital and Power publication Algeria and Egypt are discussing ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in hydrocarbons, mining and renewable energy. Talks focused on collaboration and investment opportunities between key industry players such as Algeria’s national oil company Sonatrach, state-owned electricity utility Sonelgaz, and national mining company Sonarem, along with Egyptian companies.
