Algeria is ramping up non-oil exports by deepening trade ties with Libya and Mauritania, according to the news platform Watan. Recent initiatives include new border crossings, banking reforms, and over 40 MoUs signed at a Nouakchott expo. Algiers aims to raise trade with Libya to $3 billion and expand into West Africa via a new Tindouf-Zouérat road, part of its strategy to diversify exports and bolster regional influence.
