Sudan's Agriculture Minister denies there’s a famine in the country
Sudan's agriculture minister, Abubakr al-Bushra, dismissed claims of famine in the country, questioning UN-backed data that 755,000
Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman met in person on the sidelines of the recent 37th OPEC and non-OPEC countries Ministerial Meeting. It comes after voluntary cuts in April & November 2023 to reduce output. These countries will extend their additional voluntary cuts of 2.2 million barrels a day until September 2024 – thereafter the voluntary cut will be phased out completely by September 2025.
