Algeria oversees fire drill near Moroccan border

Algerian Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Said Chengriha attended a live-fire tactical exercise, "Fortress Impregnable 2025," in Tindouf near the Moroccan border, state TV reported Thursday. The drill involved southern operational sector units backed by multidisciplinary forces. Chengriha, visiting the Third Military Region, stressed combat readiness and troop proficiency in weapons systems. He urged synergy between resources to safeguard national sovereignty and security in a speech broadcast to regional units.
