According to reporting by Energy Capital & Power, Algeria and Russia met in early-November, to discuss ongoing collaboration and potential new partnerships between the two countries. Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab met with Vladislav Davankov, Vice-President of the Russian State Duma, as part of “Algeria’s roadmap for developing its energy and mining sectors, highlighting significant opportunities for joint projects in hydrocarbon exploration, petrochemical development and rare earth minerals.”
