IMF warns of overspending by Libya’s eastern authorities
The International Monetary Fund has warned that authorities in eastern Libya spent around 60 billion dinars ($12.5 billion) in
Sonatrach, Algeria’s state-owned oil company, has entered into an MoUl with U.S. based Hecate Renewable Energy and steel maker Tosyali Algerie, to build a green hydrogen project to power steel production, as reported by Arabian Gulf Business Insight. According to AGBI, Algeria “plans to develop renewable energy and green hydrogen capacity as part of a strategy to save fossil fuels for export.”
