Algeria announced plans this week to send technical teams to Syria to assist with its failing power grid, that’s according to reporting by The Media Line (TML). The move followed a call between Algerian Minister of Energy and Mining Mohamed Arkab and Syrian energy chief Mohammed al-Bashir. TML went on to report that Algeria plans to host Syrian technicians for training programs in electricity and natural gas at Sonelgaz’s vocational institutes.
