An Algerian military delegation arrived in Mauritania Friday, to enhance bilateral defense cooperation, Yabiladi reported, citing Nouakchott-based media. The delegation toured the National Command and Staff School in Nouakchott as part of a three-day mission. The visit follows two defense agreements signed in April, covering military coordination and information security. It comes weeks after a similar Moroccan military visit, underscoring regional competition for influence.
