Algerian president signs decree to convene the electoral college for the upcoming presidential polls

In a statement on Saturday Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune signed a presidential decree to convene the electoral college for the upcoming presidential polls scheduled for September 7. It comes as Presidential Decree No. 182-24, signed on June 8, also mandates a review of the electoral lists, which will commence on June 12, and conclude on June 27.
