Algeria's shale gas revival could be back on track

According to reporting by the Energy Intelligence Group Algeria is close to engaging with two US companies, Chevron and Exxon Mobile, to exploit its vast shale reserves. 

Algiers put on hold an earlier attempt at shale development amid widespread riots in the south, but some experts believe the political risk outlook is different now.
