In a recent interministerial meeting of justice ministers, the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), announced the establishment of a new regional criminal court that looks to unify legal action against terrorism and human rights violations across the region, that’s according to reporting by Les Depeches de Brazzaville. The CPS-DH will have jurisdiction over, war crimes, genocide, crimes of aggression, terrorism, terrorism financing, money laundering, and serious human rights violations.
