Foreign ministers from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Palestine convened by phone Friday to address the aftermath of Israeli airstrikes on Iran, Egypt Today reported. Egypt’s foreign ministry condemned the attacks as “blatant and extremely dangerous,” warning they violate international law and risk a wider regional war.

Participants—Badr Abdelatty, Ayman Safadi, Faisal bin Farhan and Hussein al‑Sheikh—stressed the urgency of de-escalation and pledged ongoing coordination. They reiterated that military force cannot resolve regional crises or deliver genuine security.

Israeli jets reportedly hit over 100 targets across Iran, killing senior military personnel—including IRGC chief Hossein Salami—and nuclear scientists, amid threats of extended operations. Tehran and regional capitals such as Riyadh, Doha and Beirut condemned the strikes, with several countries suspending flights to both nations.

The ministers reaffirmed that genuine security hinges on respecting sovereignty, territorial integrity and justice—implicitly supporting renewed political efforts to end occupation and achieve peace.
