Libya eyes ceasefire after Tripoli clashes
Libya’s UN-backed government, led by Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah, said Monday it is pursuing a permanent ceasefire after clashes
At a summit in Baghdad over the weekend, the Arab League endorsed Morocco’s bid for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for 2028–29, Barlaman Today reported. The Baghdad Declaration, issued at the close of the meeting, called on member states to mobilise international support. Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita represented Morocco.
