Morocco tourism surges 19% in first half of 2025
Morocco welcomed 8.9 million tourists in the first half of 2025, a 19% year-on-year increase, according to Morocco World
Morocco has called for a lasting political resolution to the ongoing crisis in Sudan during a meeting of the African Union’s (AU) Peace and Security Council (PSC).
Speaking at the meeting, Morocco’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the AU, and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Mohamed Arrouchi, reiterated that political compromise is the only viable solution to the crisis in Sudan. He went on to add that the solution must be grounded in serious and constructive dialogue, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people and preserving the country’s state institutions.
