At least 60 migrants and refugees are feared drowned after two shipwrecks off Libya, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said. One boat sank near Alshab port on June 12, leaving 21 missing, including Eritreans, Pakistanis, and Egyptians. A second vessel capsized on June 13 near Tobruk, with 39 missing. The IOM urged enhanced rescue efforts and safe disembarkation. Only six survivors were found. Libya remains a key departure point for dangerous Mediterranean crossings to Europe.
