U.S. President Joe Biden on Tuesday urged Sudan's warring factions to "re-engage" in peace talks and allow humanitarian access, marking his most direct comments on the country's conflict. Biden called on the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to "pull back their forces, facilitate unhindered humanitarian access, and re-engage in negotiations to end this war," according to a statement released by the White House.
