China and Egypt began their first large-scale joint military exercise, "Eagles of Civilization 2025," near Israel’s border on Sunday, Chinese state media reported. The drills at Wadi Abu Rish Air Base, 100 km west of the Gulf of Suez, include China’s J-10C fighters and KJ-500 early warning aircraft—its first overseas deployment—alongside Egypt’s MiG-29s. The exercises, termed "historic," will run through mid-May.
