Chinese Premier Li Qiang told President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Thursday that China is willing to strengthen Belt and Road cooperation with Egypt in trade, finance, manufacturing, and green energy. Li conveyed greetings from President Xi Jinping, noting that ties have flourished under both leaders. Marking 70 years of diplomatic relations next year, China aims to deepen political trust and support Egypt’s core interests. Li also pledged to work with Egypt for an early ceasefire in Gaza amid regional instability.
