Chinese tourist arrivals in Tunisia jumped 15.3% year-on-year in the first seven months of 2025, a tourism official said on Wednesday. Anouar Chetoui of the Tunisian National Tourist Office in Beijing said July arrivals alone surged 30.9% despite no direct flights. He stressed that improved air connectivity is essential to further boost growth from China, a key long-haul market for its culture and beaches.
