Libya’s local elections disrupted by attacks and irregularities
Hundreds of thousands of Libyans headed to the polls this weekend for local elections, but the process was marred by
U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines has announced a direct air flight will start this October between Atlanta and Marrakech. It is another major boost for Moroccan tourism, which last year saw 402,377 Americans visit Morocco, up 7% from 2023, and in January 2025 already, U.S. visitors are up 31% from 2024. Atlanta becomes the third North American airport to link with Marrakech after Montreal and New York.
