During talks this week in Athens Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi renewed discussions on anundersea electricity link designed to transport renewable energy from North Africa to Europe. The planned cable would stretch around 620 miles across the eastern Mediterranean and allow for 3000mg of power capacity. The two leaders meeting also includedthe signing of cooperation agreements across multiple sectors.
