Egypt has boosted production at its Zohr gas field, the Mediterranean’s largest, following the redrilling of the Zohr-6 well, increasing output by 60 million cubic feet per day, Arabian Gulf Business Insight reports. Drilling has also begun at Zohr-13, expected to add another 55 million cubic feet daily. Average Zohr production stood at 2 bcfd in 2023-24, down from 3.2 bcfd in 2019 as investment slowed amid Egypt’s economic struggles.
