Egyptian security forces killed two suspected militants during a Sunday raid in Cairo that foiled a planned terrorist attack, AFP reports, citing the interior ministry. The suspects, allegedly linked to the banned Hasm movement, opened fire during the operation in Bulaq al-Dakrour, killing a civilian. Authorities say five other plot leaders remain at large, all previously sentenced in absentia for attacks following the 2013 ouster of President Mohamed Morsi.
