Sudan's Agriculture Minister denies there’s a famine in the country
Sudan's agriculture minister, Abubakr al-Bushra, dismissed claims of famine in the country, questioning UN-backed data that 755,000
Egypt will host a meeting together with Israel and the United States on Sunday to discuss the reopening of the Rafah crossing into the war-torn Gaza Strip, Egyptian media reported.
The state-linked Al-Qahera News on Saturday quoted "a senior official" as
saying that Egypt was demanding "a total Israeli withdrawal" from the
terminal, which has been closed since Israel seized the Palestinian side of
the crossing in early May, reducing aid flows into the besieged territory to a
trickle.
