Egyptian prosecutors released journalist Rasha Qandil on bail after questioning her over alleged dissemination of false information, AFP reports. A former BBC Arabic presenter and wife of jailed opposition politician Ahmed al-Tantawi, Qandil was accused based on social media activity. Her case highlights continued pressure on dissent under President Sisi's administration.
