Morocco’s main port operator hits record 49% profits for 2024
Marsa Maroc reported a net profit of over $130 million in 2024, an increase of 49% over the previous year.
According to official data released this week Egypt welcomed 15.78 million international tourists in 2024, marking the highest number on record. Germany, Russia, and Saudi Arabia were the top three countries contributing to inbound tourism, and in December 2024, Egypt’s hotel occupancy rate averaged 69 percent, reflecting a 25 percent increase compared to December 2023.
