Egypt state-linked media: Gaza truce talks 'bogged down'- evacuation of East Rafah ordered by Israel

A rocket strike by Hamas militants on the Kerem Shalom border area between Gaza and Israel has stalled talks aiming to reach a truce between the warring sides, state-linked TV in mediator Egypt said on Monday.
Al-Qahera News, linked to Egyptian intelligence services, cited a
high-level source as saying the Sunday strike, which killed four Israeli
soldiers, "caused truce negotiations to bog down."

It comes as Israel orders the evacuation of east Rafah ahead of
a long-threatened ground invasion of the southern Gaza city, the prospect of
which has triggered widespread global alarm.
