Egypt's blue-chip index EGX30 advanced for a fourth day and rose 1.6% to hit a record high at 35,254 on Tuesday. The surge follows comments last week from Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, who said the country had overcome recent economic headwinds, citing stronger performance indicators, steady supplies of goods and factory inputs, and measures to ease pressures on households, SEE news reported. The Egyptian Exchange has been buoyed by several IPO listings this year including "Al Wataniya Printing" on Tuesday, real estate firm "Bonyan" debuted last month.
