Egypt's trade with the United Kingdom reached £4.7 billion in 2024, announced Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt's Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation. At a meeting with the British Egyptian Business Association, Al-Mashat highlighted the British International Investment's significant role, with investments totaling about £547 million in 64 Egyptian companies. She projected a 4% growth in Egypt’s economy by year-end, emphasizing the private sector's role in driving sustainable economic development through collaborative efforts among government ministries.
