Maghreb countries fear return of radicalized citizens after Assad’s fall

Amnesty International reported on Wednesday that Egypt has conducted numerous arrests and illegal deportations of thousands of refugees escaping the conflict in Sudan.
According to the rights organization, it recorded 12 instances where Egyptian authorities forcibly repatriated around 800 Sudanese nationals between January and March of this year, without allowing them the opportunity to apply for asylum or contest their deportation orders.
