Egypt’s garment exports rose 18% to $2.84 billion in 2024, according to a report by the country’s Garments Export Council quoted by Egyptian media. The increase was driven by strong growth in the U.S. ($1.19 billion) and Europe ($689 million). Exports to Africa surged 140%. The council aims for an overall increase of 20% in 2025, reaching $3.3 billion, through expanded trade expansion efforts.
