Egypt’s growth to accelerate, says Arab Monetary Fund

Egypt’s economy will expand by 4.2% in 2025 and 4.7% in 2026, driven by looser monetary policy and rising investment, the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) told Egypt Today. The AMF credits reforms such as a shift to a market exchange rate for stabilising finances and attracting capital. Inflation, which hit 35.4% in 2023, is projected to fall to 17.9% in 2025 and 11.9% in 2026.
