In a phone call on Saturday, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II discussed the current situation in Palestine, including ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid. According to a statement from the Egyptian presidency, both sides also discussed developments in the West Bank, reaffirming their “categorical” rejection of any attempts to displace Palestinians from their lands.
