FIFA opens Africa office in Morocco, launches U-17 cup

FIFA inaugurated a new regional office in Rabat to support football development in North and West Africa, according to Moroccan media. The facility, next to the Mohammed VI Complex, was opened Saturday by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and CAF President Patrice Motsepe. Infantino also announced Morocco will host the first FIFA U-17 Women’s Club World Cup in 2025, ahead of its co-hosting of the 2030 World Cup.
