Mauritania shut down nearly 150 migrant smuggling networks in 2024, with dozens more disrupted in just the first few months
The 7,000-km Nigeria-Morocco pipeline was conceived by the two countries in 2016 and iscentered around the exploration of natural gas.
According to the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, speaking in Texas this week, noted that the final investment decision on the $25 billion pipeline would be reached by December 2024. It is one of the most ambitious projects across the continent involving 13 African countries.
