Fitch: Morocco’s economy set to grow 5% in 2025- despite challenges

According to a new study by Fitch Solutions, Morocco’s economy could grow by 5% in 2025, up from 3.3% in 2024. Fitch has however revised down the initial forecast of 5.6% to 5.0%, due to “emerging signs that agricultural production will fall below historical averages.” Simply put agriculture could be impacted by worsening weather conditions such as drought and climate change.
