Morocco’s CPI up 0.4% in June
The latest data released Tuesday by Morocco’s High Commission for Planning (HCP) has indicated that the Consumer Price Index
Moroccan footballers Achraf Hakimi and Brahim Diaz have been named among the most valuable Arab players by Forbes, as reported by Moroccan media. Hakimi, who stars for Paris Saint-Germain, tops the list with a market value of $93.6 million. He recently secured his fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title and became only the second African player to win the UEFA Champions League with two clubs.
Brahim Diaz, ranked fourth with a value of $46.8 million, contributed six goals and six assists in 55 matches for Real Madrid during the 2024–2025 season. The list also includes Egypt’s Omar Marmoush ($87.8 million), Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah ($58.5 million), and Manchester City’s Rayan Ait Nouri ($41 million).
Forbes noted Hakimi’s 2025 Prix Marc-Vivien Foé award and growing support for his Ballon d’Or candidacy. The ranking highlights the increasing impact of Arab players at the top levels of European football, as they play key roles in elite clubs across the continent.
