Egyptian-UK activist on hunger strike, now ill in prison

Moroccan authorities arrested a 42-year-old French-Algerian man in Casablanca following an Interpol red notice issued by France, Moroccan media report. The suspect has been wanted 2019 for drug trafficking, and now faces extradition to France. This follows a similar arrest in Marrakech last October, highlighting Morocco’s cooperation in combating international organized crime.
