Morocco tourism surges 19% in first half of 2025
Morocco welcomed 8.9 million tourists in the first half of 2025, a 19% year-on-year increase, according to Morocco World
Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita held talks in Paris on Tuesday with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Stéphane Séjourné.
Séjourné highlighted the “unique” relationship between France and Morocco in a tweet on the social media platform X.
"The momentum created by my recent visit to Morocco continues today with a working session with my counterpart,” he said.
The meeting took place as ties between both countries is growing stronger, with France increasingly showing support for Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara.
