AfDB grants $30 million facility to Mauritania’s GBM
The African Development Bank Group has approved a $30 million trade finance facility for the Générale de Banque de Mauritanie
Gérard Larcher, President of the French Senate, will visit Dakhla on February 28, marking the first such trip to Morocco’s southern provinces, regional media report. The visit follows French endorsement of Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara, and a strengthening of bilateral ties. Recent agreements include €10 billion in trade and investment, targeting sectors like rail, energy, and green hydrogen.
