Ghana and Morocco agree to visa-free-waiver agreement

Morocco and Ghana have agreed to a visa waiver for travelers from both nations, Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa announced on Sunday. The agreement, aimed at deepening ties in sectors such as agribusiness, tourism, and security, will be presented to the parliaments of both countries for ratification. The announcement followed discussions with Morocco’s Ambassador to Ghana, Imane Ouaadil, who addressed safety concerns of Africans in Morocco amidst misleading social media claims.
