The International Finance Corporation is set to provide Maroc Telecom with two loans totaling $426 million as the Moroccan telecom group sets out improvements in mobile connectivity and the quality of mobile internet in Chad and Mali. Speakign to local Moroccan media, Mohamed Benchaaboun, CEO of Maroc Telecom said “Operating in the sub-Saharan Africa region for more than 20 years, Maroc Telecom Group’s strategy is to enhance telecommunication and associated products to serve a fast-growing young population.”
