A joint Morocco, Spain, Portugal, UK & US operation, led by Spain’s Civil Guard and the Customs Surveillance Service, and part of a joint investigation initiated by Moroccan security services and France’s National Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations (DNRED), seized a 3-tonne shipment of cocaine, off the Canary Islands, Spanish authorities announced on Wednesday. A statement went on to say that the vessel, known as ‘Sky White’ acted as a “mothership,” responsible for delivering narcotics to smaller boats in areas near the Canary Islands or the Iberian Peninsula.
