Two Israeli paratroopers were moderately injured in a car accident during the African Lion military exercises in Morocco on May 16, the New Arab reporting citing Israeli media. The annual U.S.-led drill involves over 20 nations and is partially hosted by the kingdom. Israel’s participation, its third year running, comes amid ongoing public protests in Morocco over the Gaza war.
