Italy's Lazio regional court upheld a 2019 government decision to allocate 2 million euros ($2.1 million) from its Africa Fund to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for Libya migration crisis response, dismissing a challenge by three NGOs, the tribunal said on Tuesday.The groups - Differenza Donna, ASGI and Spazi Circolari - had contested the foreign ministry's funding approval for IOM's "Comprehensive and Multi-sectoral Action Plan in Response to the Migration Crisis in Libya" project.
