Belqasem Khalifa Haftar, Libya’s Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund, and Francesco Brescia, Italian airways ITA representative, have announced the resumption of direct flights between Benghazi, Rome and Milan starting in early June. It comes after Italian airways resumed flights between Tripoli and Rome on January 12 this year after a ten-year suspension.
