During her official visit to Tunisia, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni signed three agreements aimed at strengthening the North African nation’s capacity to manage migration to Europe.
These agreements, which align with broader European objectives, encompass a budget support scheme, a pact for enhancing higher education and scientific research, and a credit facility targeting small to medium-sized enterprises.
According to Ms. Meloni's office, Italy will provide Tunisia with €105 million in financial aid and credit facilities.
Additionally, Italy committed €50 million to support Tunisian projects focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy.
